East Capital sees China as "key priority" in 2019

With Chinese stocks having made it into MSCI's indices last year, China is one of the main areas of focus in 2019 for Swedish emerging and frontier market investor East Capital Asset Management, partner and senior adviser Karine Hirn tells AMWatch.

According to East Capital's Karine Hirn, the Chinese market ought to be crucial not just for her firm -- but for everyone.

"China is a key priority for us and should also be on everybody's priority list when considering how important the domestic equity markets -- A-shares -- will become in emerging market indices and globally," Hirn, who is partner and senior adviser at the Swedish asset manager, tells AMWatch.
