Nykredit sees AM business surge as trophy shelf fills

Money has been flowing into Nykredit's asset management business, with assets under management having grown by 34 percent in just one year. The capital is coming from private banking customers as well as investment mandates from institutional investors, CEO Michael Rasmussen tells AMWatch's sister site FinansWatch.

Nykredit's asset management business is booming. Customers have been feeding it with capital, and the firm's private banking unit has picked up awards.

"We're doing well. Our AUM (assets under management) has grown 34 percent in one year. It's certainly the business area with the highest growth," Nykredit's CEO Michael Rasmussen tells FinansWatch in the wake of the company's third quarter report.
