Asset manager's new RE fund shoots for EUR 500 million capital

Real estate fund management company Genesta has launched its largest fund to date. It will operate with a different risk profile and pursue new types of real estate, according to the firm's Head of Fund and Investment Management.

The European asset manager Genesta -- famed in Denmark for its DKK 0.5 billion-plus (EUR 670 million) Copenhagen rail freight terminal at Kalvebod Brygge 32 -- is poised to launch a new fund.

It aims to raise EUR 500 million in equity and have total investment capacity of approximately EUR 800 million.
