Storebrand AM appoints new Head of Sustainable Investments

Storebrand Asset Management has found a new replacement for its head of sustainable investments, who left Norway’s largest asset manager last year to pursue new challenges.

Storebrand Asset Management has appointed Kamil Zabielski as Head of Sustainable Investments. He takes over from Matthew Smith, who decided to embark on new challenges as director for sustainable finance at KPMG Norway.

Zabielski joins Storebrand from the Norwegian Export Credit Guarantee Agency, where he worked for the past ten years. He has worked with due diligence assessment, he has held positions such as ESG specialist, and most recently, Head of Sustainability. Before, Zabielski  worked at the Council on Ethics at the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global, also known as the Oil Fund.
