A record-large green investment wave is washing over Europe, and it could easily swell even more in the future, according to a Danish pension fund and a US-based investment group after figures released by analysis firm Morningstar show that almost EUR 60.5bn were put into sustainable investment funds on the European market during the second quarter.
"It's not surprising. The demand is there and can be felt. And now supply is beginning to match the hunger. So, it's almost mathematical that the wind is blowing that way," says Kasper A. Lorenzen, chief investment officer of Danish pension firm PFA.
