Swedish asset manager launches sustainable corporate bond fund

Lannebo Fonder will establish its first fund to invest solely in green bonds or bonds issued by sustainable companies.

The rapid growth in the Nordic green corporate bonds has prompted Swedish fund company Lannebo Fonder to launch a new fund based on sustainable corporate bonds. The new fund is Lannebo's fourth corporate bond fund but the first to invest solely in green or bonds issued by sustainable companies, according to a press release from the Swedish asset manager.

"We invested in the world's first green corporate bond issued in 2013. Now we can have an entire fund only investing in sustainable bonds, that is fantastic," says Karin Haraldsson, who will manage the fund with Katarina Ponsbach Carlsson.
