Shareholders want to pull Equinor out of oil and gas

Equinor's next annual general meeting will raise and vote on three stakeholder proposals that aim to make the company more green. Management opposes the proposals, writes Norwegian media.

Equinor should drop oil and gas activities in a range of areas and make its business greener, propose shareholders ahead of the company's annual general meeting on May 15.

They have sent three proposals to Equinor in advance, which seek to make the company more climate-friendly and benefit the long-term interests of shareholders, writes Norwegian media Stavanger Aftenblad.
