CFA Denmark's members keen to wise up on ESG

Responsible investing (RI) and ESG criteria are hot topics at the CFA society in Denmark, Finansforeningen -- where RI seminars have become popular with members.

In April this year, Dansif — the Danish association for responsible investment professionals — became an independent network under the auspices of Finansforeningen, Denmark's CFA society. As a result, Dansif got a seat on Finansforeningen's board.

"Dansif represents an area of growth in financial markets. In 2018, almost half of our network meetings were about or related to ESG. With the cooperation, we have strengthened the integration of ESG in investing, reflecting the current development in the financial markets. ESG is a priority among investment professionals," says CEO of Finansforeningen, Michael Albrechtslund.
