World Federation of Exchanges launches plan for sustainable finance

The global industry group for exchanges and CCPs says it is determined to take a leading role in promoting sustainable finance. The group has now published a set of five sustainability principles -- for itself and its membership.

The World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) is launching a new set of five sustainability principles, and says its members will try to live up to the pledged progressively in accordance with "their circumstances and priorities".

Nandini Sukumar, CEO, WFE says: "The launch of the five WFE Sustainability Principles marks an even clearer commitment by the WFE membership to role-model and promote actions that work towards a more sustainable financial future."
